1. Who we are

Stack Meridian (“we”, “us”, “our”) builds and operates software products and services, including our website at stackmeridian.com and related tools such as the SM-Agent social publishing assistant connected to Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Threads).

Contact: [email protected] · IT Park, Nagpur, Maharashtra, India.

2. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you visit our website, contact us, or authorize our applications to access your social accounts via Meta’s platforms.

It applies to stackmeridian.com, our contact and newsletter forms, and Meta apps we operate (including SM-Agent).

3. Information we collect

Information you provide: name, email, phone, company, project details, and messages submitted through forms or email.

Account connection data: when you connect Instagram, Threads, Facebook, or LinkedIn (or similar) to our tools, we receive tokens and profile identifiers Meta or that provider returns (for example user id, username, and granted permissions).

Content and engagement data needed to operate the service you requested: posts, media you upload or approve, comments/replies you ask us to publish, and delivery/status logs.

Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, referring URLs, and basic usage logs for security and reliability.

4. How we use information

To respond to enquiries and deliver contracted services.

To publish, schedule, or reply to content on platforms you authorized, only within the scopes you granted.

To operate, secure, debug, and improve our website and agent tooling.

To send operational messages (for example delivery confirmations) and, where you opted in, product updates.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Meta platform data

When you authorize SM-Agent (or related Stack Meridian Meta apps), we access only the permissions you approve (for example posting, reading replies/mentions, or insights on accounts you control).

We use that data solely to provide the features you requested. We do not use Meta platform data to build unrelated advertising profiles or to sell data to third parties.

You can revoke access at any time in your Meta / Instagram / Threads account settings (Apps and Websites) and by disconnecting the integration in our tools.

6. Sharing

Service providers that help us host, email, or operate infrastructure (under contracts that require appropriate protection of data).

Platform providers you connect (Meta, LinkedIn, etc.) as needed to fulfill API requests you authorized.

Legal authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.

7. Retention

We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes above, including legal, accounting, and security requirements.

Connected-account tokens are kept while the integration remains active and are removed or invalidated when you disconnect or revoke access.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including access controls and encrypted storage for credentials where applicable. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

9. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object or withdraw consent.

To exercise these rights, email [email protected] with the subject “Privacy request”.

10. Data deletion

To request deletion of data associated with our website or SM-Agent / Meta integrations, email [email protected] with the subject “Data deletion request” and include the email or platform username used with our services.

We will confirm receipt and delete or de-identify personal data we control within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it for legal or security reasons.

You should also remove our app from Meta’s Apps and Websites settings to revoke platform access.

11. Children

Our services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

12. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of our services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
